A list of pastYHA weekends is given below.

2008 Four holidays Symonds Yat Keswick with French Yorkshire Dales Long Walk Seefeld and Ellmau
Over 50 members spent 5 days at the Paddocks Hotel, walking in the Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley. A week's holiday, hosting our French friends from La Randonnee Céretane, based in Keswick and walking in a variety of locations in the Lake District.

Five days walking between hostels in the the Yorkshire Dales in July. The walks took us over Pendle Hill and then from Malham to Kettlewell to Thoralby to Hawes. The last day combined a 7 mile walk from Hawes to Garsdale Head, train to Settle and 7 miles walk to Malham

A wonderful holiday for 53 members, first walking in the limestone mountains around Seefeld and the Lautasch Valley followed by a week in Ellmau walking in the Wilder Kaiser range and the gentler slopes to the south

2006 Four holidays PatterdaleCalifornia Lake District Long WalkAlnmouth
Another large party , including some friends from France, had a good week's holiday in the Lake District in April 2006, staying at the Patterdale Hotel. San Francisco, Yosemite National Park, Kings Canyon National Park, great walking and sightseeing in a variety of landscapes. Slightly shorter routes than last year but made difficult by the very high temperatures throughout the holiday. Expect something similar to be arranged for next year. We filled the HF hotel at Almouth for a guided walking holiday in late September and early October

2005 Four holidays PatterdaleLake District Long Walk ItalyCroyde Bay
More than seventy members braved the weather in the Lake District for a week in March 2005, staying at the Patterdale Hotel. Four days of good weather allowed 4 great ridge routes but the last day's rain kept us at lower levels. Over 50 miles and 20,000 feet of climbing. The holiday in August/September 2005 at Selva, Val di Gardena in the Dolomites was excellent. Walking at all levels was possible, using the gondolas and chairlifts among the spectacular limestone scenery dominated by the Sassolungo peaks. Some members moved on to spend a week at Malcesine on Lake Garda. More than 40 members and 10 of our French friends spent a week at the Unison Holiday Village in Croyde Bay, North Devon at the end of October 2005. A and C walks took place every day on the coastal paths, the Tarka Trail and Exmoor and use was made of the swimming, table tennis and Petang facilities.. The weather improved from a rainy first day to warm sunshine later in the week.

2004 Three holidays SloveniaCumbria Way Scarborough
During May 2004 17 club members took a holiday in Slovenia, staying at Kranjska Gora in the Julian Alps for one week. The Karavanke and Julian Alps mountain ranges provided marvellous walking for all grades and abilities. 12 members of the party remained for a less strenuous second week at Portoroz on the coast. A group of 25 completed this long distance walk through the Lake District, from Ulverston to Carlisle, over one week in July 2004. More than forty members spent 4 nights at the Crown Hotel in Scarborough near the end of October. The food was excellent and the weather was kind to us while we walked in the North Yorkshire Moors or along coastal paths.

Visits were made to Palma, Soller, Lluc, Pollensa and Valldermosa. On the Cavall Bernat Ridge
2001Two holidays Switzerland and FranceFrance
This was a composite holiday in which some people towed caravans and others hired caravans or tents when they were there and yet others flew there and stayed in a hotel. They stayed at Annecy in France before moving on to Lauterbrunnen in Switzerland. This was our visit to Belleme in the Orne Perche region of France at the invitation of Les Marcheurs du Perche whom we had entertained at Edale the year before

This was a repeat, with a larger group, of the successful holiday two years before.
